چکیده
The modern concept of lightweight design (LW) requires the application different materials in one structure (multi-material structures). has a good perspective for automotive and aerospace industries but only if it is possible to achieve quality joint between materials. most used technology joining industry Resistance spot welding (RSW). Due mechanical, physical, chemical properties, by RSW does not provide joint, accordingly, alternative technologies have emerged. element (REW) was developed enable This paper presents AW 5754 H22 Al alloy (1.0 mm-thick) DP500 steel (1.5 using novel REW. peak load, absorption energy, microstructure, microhardness fatigue strength REW been investigated. same done also conventional compare some results. results that will be presented this show can reliable two at relatively low currents compared RSW. Using process with significantly lower current, satisfactory mechanical characteristics weld achieved, so load 2300–2500 N, displacement 2.5–3 mm energy 3.3–5.7 J. joints showed limit 882 N.

متن کاملEffect of Weld Metal Microstructure on the Fatigue and Corrosion-Fatigue Properties of GTA-Welded 304 Stainless Steel
In this research, two different filler metals, ERNiCrMo-3 and ER309L, were used for developing different microstructure, austenite (γ) and austenite and ferrite (γ+δ) in the weld metal and fatigue properties of welded samples were evaluated in the air and sea water environments. Microstructural studies indicated a good agreement between predicted microstructures via schiffler diagram and metall...

متن کاملTensile properties and fracture locations of friction-stir-welded joints of 2017-T351 aluminum alloy
Friction stir welding (FSW) is a new and promising welding process that can produce low-cost and high-quality joints of heat-treatable aluminum alloys because it does not need consumable filler materials and can eliminate some welding defects such as crack and porosity. In order to demonstrate the friction stir weldability of the 2017-T351 aluminum alloy and determine optimum welding parameters...
